Description:
The Standard Leg Restraint is included in the SureLock M&P1 Full Restraint System. The restraint enables an escorting Officer total control over a Subject’s ability to walk without limiting a normal stride, yet it can be quickly retracted by pulling the red handle to safely control movement. The unit features our proprietary UniLock device, which use a single handcuff key. The unit is designed for single-leg use, but can be adjusted to fit both ankles.
The Standard Leg Restraint attaches to D-rings on either side of the Waist Belt, a door handle, or other secure object with the attached handcuff.
Specifications:
- Strong one-inch, 500-lb test, Nylon tethers integrated with our proprietary UniLock locking buckles
- Attaches to the SureLock M&P Waist Belt or a secure object via a Peerless M700C handcuff
- Proprietary upper UniLock device provides one-way restricted movement, released with a standard handcuff key
- Proprietary lower UniLock device double-locks for safety and is padded to reduce risk of tissue damage
